For the assay of cryophylactic experiments, the samples were kept frozen for 22.5 h at −80 °C and allowed to thaw at ambient temperature (32 °C) for 1.5 h, which constituted one freeze–thaw cycle.The E.coli transformants BL/OsLEA4 cells displayed significantly higher survival ratios than BL/pET32a cells
